ABOUT WALT ORTHODONTICS

Walt Orthodontics is a full time, orthodontics-only specialty office located in Maple.

Dr. David Walt is a licensed orthodontist/orthodontic specialist (different than a general/family dentist who does orthodontics). This means he is a specialist in straightening crooked teeth and fixing improper bites.

Since our scope of practice is specialized, we only offer orthodontic services in our office (i.e. not cleanings, fillings, etc.). Since we are not based in a general or pediatric dental office, we are able to office focused care and an extremely high level of convenience and service.

We provide very flexible, interest-free payment plans with affordable monthly fees.

We offer orthodontic services for kids, teens, and adults.

For adults we offer esthetic options like Invisalign, lingual braces along with Acceledent, which may help to speed up treatment times.

We pride ourselves on being a small, intimate office where Dr. Walt is primarily involved in the care of every single patient.

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that every child should have their first orthodontic examination at the age of 7.

Our initial consults are FREE, and we offer evening and weekend appointments.

Call us at 905-553-8666 or visit at www.waltortho.com to book your complimentary consultation. No referral is necessary.

*Annual Lemonade Stand (Thornhill)
11am-6pm
Zaracoff House
45 Loma Vista Drive
Thornhill, ON

In 2011, my father contracted lymphoma and passed away at the age of 45, leaving our family behind.
That year, my 9-year-old sister, Jenna, set up a lemonade stand in our front garden in Thornhill, with the aim of donating the proceeds to Lymphoma Canada to promote awareness and research. With the help of family, friends and a supportive community, she raised $3,000.
Since that time, Jenna’s Lemonade Stand has become an annual tradition, involving community partners who donate entertainment, baked goods, merchandise for a silent auction and children’s events such as face painting. Last June, she was able to present a cheque for $8,400 to Lymphoma Canada and was presented with an award by Vaughan Mayor Mario Bevilacqua, acknowledging her efforts as a “Civic Hero” for outstanding community service.

Festival partners in 2011 included the Hamilton Children’s Museum, Frontier College who provided free books for all children attending as well as the Hamilton Literary Council who with the Children’s Museum were responsible for volunteers. Arts Hamilton was our charitable partner and provided invaluable assistance in many ways.
