The Woodbridge Village Farmers Market is a non-profit, volunteer run market. We are affiliated with the Woodbridge Agricultural Society. The market is a great place to spend a quiet Saturday morning, meeting with friends and neighbours. We invite you to join us every Saturday from June 16th 2018 to October 13th 2018.The Woodbridge Village Farmers Market is a friendly, big hearted market located on the northwest corner of Hwy #7 and Islington Ave., at the Woodbridge Pool & Memorial Arena parking lot. Our volunteers are always there to help with the many special events. It’s a fun place for friends to meet and families to come Saturday mornings. Our Kid’s Club includes creative crafts and engaging activities weekly. This will be our 10th year of operation.

Scarborough Ribfest is the summer’s largest community event in East Toronto. The Rotary Club of Scarborough runs Scarborough Ribfest as an annual festival and fundraiser. All moneys raised by the Rotary Club of Scarborough are donated to charitable projects in Scarborough, Toronto, and around the world.
This year, Ribfest will have 10 incredible Ribbers from all over Canada and the US, along with 20 other food vendors, a midway, and over 50 other craft vendors! To keep you cool, beer and coolers along with pop and water will be available at the two Rotary tents. 11 fantastic live bands will be providing live entertainment free during the weekend .For the young and young at heart, open mike Karaoke will start each day at 11 AM.
Entertainment and parking are free.

On August 4th, the school will be host to many talented international and local students showcasing their talents in the arts, as well as local bands and musicians. Food trucks will be on site.
It’s also an event where locals can come out to take a look at what the school can offer. Tours of the building can be offered as well as free roam.
Burlington Royal Arts Academy is a school that, as well as offers students regular high school education, specialize in arts-based courses, helping students get ready for auditions, additional music, dance, art and drama programs, portfolio development etc.
At the event, they will have a high number of international students from China coming over to enhance their arts-based skills at the academy, along with some famous Chinese talent to perform at our festival on August 4th.
On August 3rd and 5th, there will be a concert held at Burlington Performing Arts Centre (440 Locust St, Burlington, ON L7S 1T7) showcasing the international and local students.

Thrill to the booming of the cannon, the firing of muskets, the vibrant colours of the uniformed guard and the lively music of fife and drum at Fort York this summer.
Visitors will enjoy hourly demonstrations of military music, drill, musketry, and artillery performed by students representing the Canadian Regiment of Fencible Infantry; this unit garrisoned the Fort at the end of the War of 1812. Highlights include musket and cannon firings, and the music of the Fort York Drums (a fife & drum corps).
