Maple Leaf Music Together is remembering and celebrating the lives of Daniel, Harrison and Milagros Neville-Lake with an interactive and joyous family concert that the whole community is invited to attend. Our concert will be led by international musician and recording artist, Gerry Dignan, featured as “Uncle Gerry” on all 9 CD’s of the Music Together Collections. Each of the Neville-Lake children loved music and making music in our Music Together classes with their parents Edward and Jennifer — they loved listening to and singing along with Uncle Gerry on the CD’s together as a family. The children were great fun and are deeply and dearly missed — this concert is an expression of our love for them and their family. We have renamed our scholarship fund in honour of our sweet and feisty friend, Milagros(Milly) Neville-Lake, who participated in our music classes since she was an infant, and was enrolled in our fall classes at the time of her tragic and untimely death. “Milly’s Miracle Fund” will be used to provide tuition scholarships to our classes for families in financial need, and those with children with special needs like her older brother Harrison — who originally came to our classes as part of his therapy as a toddler. All proceeds from the Memorial Concert will go towards Milly’s Miracle Fund. Cost to attend is $10/adult $5/children under 18.
