Nottawasaga Inn Resort Review

Nottawasaga inn Resort Review

We just got back from The Nottawasaga Inn Resort in Alliston, Ontario, and we had a great time. This is our 4th year back here for the Victoria Day weekend. Thanks to our group, this Victoria Day weekend was extra busy this year! Go Entertain Kids!!! I was fortunate enough to be able to meet a few of you, but it was hard meeting everyone, as I was chasing after my own kids. This year, we brought up my In-laws, and my friend and her kids. They all had a blast and enjoyed the swimming pool a lot.

ROOMS
The rooms in the resort are very nice and clean. I even noticed they redid the floors in the washrooms. They look great. The beds are comfortable and you get a flat screen TV in the room.

FOOD
•Inside The Resort
We always eat at the Riverview Restaurant when we visit the resort. The Riverview is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You have the option of ordering from the menu or eating off the buffet. We liked the breakfast buffet the most.
Next time I visit Nottawasaga, I want to try the Mahogany Restaurant. The menu looks really good.

•Outside The Resort
When you drive out of the resort, head west for 10 minutes down the road and you will see the Town of Alliston.

Some Restaurants You Will See In Town:
McDonalds
Subway
Wimpy’s Diner
Spring Basil Asian
Pizza Pizza
East Side Mario’s
A & W
Wild Wing
Thera Greek
Dairy Queen
Swiss Chalet
Tim Hortons

INDOOR ACTIVITIES
•Indoor Pool
My kids love going swimming at this resort. They absolutely love the large water slide. Your child has to pass a swim test in order to be able to go down the slide. There is also a hot tub and a rain umbrella for the kids.

•Indoor Mini Putt
The 18 hole mini putt golf course is a jungle theme with animals. The four of us did a round of golf after dinner. The kids really loved it!

•Arcade
There is a small arcade with vintage games located next to the mini golf course. There are lots of retro pinball machines. This is not an arcade where you collect tickets and win a prize. This is more fun, old school gaming. Billard and ping pong tables are located next to the arcade.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
•Outdoor Pool
We got lucky with the weather this weekend and the outdoor pool was open. They have a huge deck overlooking the pool with lots of seating.

•Driving Range & Golf Course
My husband Darren turned my kids into golf lovers. We never miss the driving range when we visit each year. You can purchase a bucket of golf balls and borrow some small clubs for the kids. This is conveniently located on the property.

•Playground
There is an outdoor playground on the grounds. It has three slides and a little bridge. It’s a good place to kill some time with the kids.
There is also an outdoor volleyball court and a soccer field. We brought up a ball so our kids could all play and blow off some steam.

SPECIAL EVENT ACTIVITIES
Since we came up for Victoria Day weekend, there were some extra activities for the kids.
My kid’s favourite activities they did were painting on canvases, decorating bandannas, and making s’more kits.

I hope everyone who made it out here, had a wonderful weekend with their families!

Hopefully I can get us more deals here for upcoming weekends.
