It is made up of 5 main sections. Main Stage: Features performances by established artists. Youth stage: For young and amateur artists. In total about 40 musical performances happen at AFROFEST every year. Children’s Creative Village: This area is equipped with a changing station for nursing mothers. Here, young children learn various elementary elements of African culture.
Activities include face painting, story telling, drumming lessons. Drum Zone: This is an interactive area at AFROFEST where drummers and dancers meet and create impromptu music and dance. With over 80 vendors, the AFROFEST marketplace has food and merchandise vendors selling all manner of exotic food and products.

5th annual Burlington Downtown Car Show taking place on Brant Street in the heart of the city. The show is themed a celebration of the automobile and showcases vehicles of all ages, classes and types. A 1910 McLaughlin Buick, a 1937 Rolls Royce, Studebakers, cruisers, muscles cars, euro-tuners and the latest offerings from Ford and General Motors. See the museum cars displayed at City Hall and take a walk along Elgin Street to view the Super Cars on display. There will be 200 vehicles in total. The show stretches from Caroline Street to Lakeshore Road. Open to the general public from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Family friendly event. Free admission. 
New for this year our Main Stage will be located on the terrace of the Burlington Performing Arts Centre. Live music on the BPAC terrace from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Vendors will line Brant Street along with the cars on display. Many local merchants offer sidewalk sales and there are fine restaurants all along Brant Street to enjoy.
