The Woodbridge Village Farmers’ Market is a friendly, big hearted market located on the northwest corner of Hwy #7 and Islington Ave., at the Woodbridge Pool & Memorial Arena parking lot. The market runs every Saturday, rain or shine, between 9am and 1pm from June 15 until Thanksgiving Weekend, October 12, 2019. There is plenty of free parking at our market. Our local farmer vendors are passionate about their produce. Our volunteers are always there to help with the many special events. It’s a fun place for friends to meet and families to come Saturday mornings. Our Kid’s Club includes creative crafts and engaging activities weekly. This will be our 11th year of operation. One of the main reasons we exist is to encourage our community to buy locally grown and harvested IN SEASON conventional and organic vegetables and fruit. Also at the market you will find cheese, honey, yummy breads and baked goods, and prepared ffood for sale.

TIDBRF’s mandate is to promote the tradition and sport of dragon boating; to enhance awareness of Asian and Chinese-Canadian cultures and to strengthen cross-cultural understanding. Since 1989, the Festival takes place in June to promote cultural understanding and act as supporting attractions to tourists coming to Toronto. It has been recognized as one of the signature cultural events in Toronto that promote heritage and arts in this highly diversify region of the Country.
On average, over 5,000 athletes participating in the heritage dragon boat race with over 80 local artists, artisans and heritage performers, 200+ volunteers participating in this 2-day festival. It draws over 65,000 visitors per year.
