Festival goers get a chance to participate in hands-on-experiments, interact with students, and see amazing scientific demonstrations. On May 11, 2019 as part of Responsible Pet Ownership Month, the City of Pickering will host the 8th Annual Petapolooza – Pickering’s Pet Festival.
Petapolooza brings together pet enthusiasts within our community and gives them an opportunity to meet industry professionals, rescue groups, and others in the pet industry.
Admission is $5, with free admission for seniors 55+, children under 12, and pets. All proceeds will go towards building a permanent animal shelter
Similar to previous years, attendees can expect to see over 900 attendees and 40 exhibitors. Many rescue groups, plenty of giveaways including pet bandanas, games, food samples, water stations for your pet, live entertainment for the whole family and more!
A Rabies and Microchip Clinic for dogs will also be offered during the event.
Petapolooza runs from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in the Upper Leash Free Area at Grand Valley Park.
