*Haunted House (Milton)
12pm-5pm
Inside Milton Mall (accross from Stiches)
55 Ontario Street South
Milton, ON

The Milton Haunted House first started out as a Milton neighbourhood attraction in 2006, set up at the home of a local Milton Town Councillor. As it grew in size and popularity threatening to take over the house, the councillor’s spouse gave an ultimatum, either it or the councillor had to move to a new home. With the help of a team of volunteers and the community-minded shopping centre Milton Mall it moved into its new semi-permanent location inside the Mall in 2011.
One of the unique features of the Milton Haunted House is that it is designed to be suitable for all ages offering both a scream-fest version for teens and adults as well as gentle but slightly spooky adventure for young children.
To date the initiative has raised over $60,000 which goes towards the Milton District Hospital Foundation, to help with the purchase of new medical equipment and facility improvements. Each year a team of over 75 volunteers, many of them local Milton High School students, setup the temporary walls, rooms and interior corridors that make up the ever growing haunt that then gets filled with animatronic creations, frightful scenery and dramatic scary actors.
In addition to the Haunted House, there are silent auctions, pumpkins, face painting and local super heroes to entertain the crowds lining up to enter.

Don’t miss this year’s Halloween Spooktacula Fun at Eastgate Square! On Monday, October 31st enjoy Safe Trick or Treating from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Parents bring your zombies, vampires, ghosts, goblins, and witches to Eastgate Square’s Safe Trick or Treating in Eastgate’s warm indoor mall environment. As admission, please make a donation to a builder representing Habitat for Humanity Hamilton at the door when entering. 100% of all proceeds collected will be given to this great cause. Minimum donation of a Toonie would be very much appreciated. Mystery prizes will be randomly given away to select donors during the event.
Safe Trick or Treat is Eastgate Square’s annual Trick or Treat event which is geared to children 12 years and under. The event gives children and parents the opportunity to trick or treat in a safe, warm and dry indoor environment. The children walk through the mall with their own loot bags and collect candy from participating Eastgate Square stores while supplies last. Signs in the store windows will indicate to parents and children which merchants are taking part in Safe Trick or Treat so parents please look for the “Trick or Treat HERE” sign in store windows.
For further information on Eastgate Square’s Safe Trick or Treat please call Customer Service at Eastgate Square at 905-561-2444 or visit the website at www.eastgatesquare.ca. For further information about Habitat for Humanity Hamilton please visit their website at www.habitathamilton.ca.
