SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER FREE & CHEAP EVENTS (September 30- October 2, 2016)

I decided to get a little crafty yesterday and made my 6 year old daughter a GUM BALL MACHINE Costume for Halloween.

14523271_10103326659485010_5348896622412647095_n

All of the items are from Dollarama!

14516541_10103326660637700_7002569178344299164_n

ITEMS USED

•My old white tank (it will be big and can go over a sweatshirt or jacket)
• Red Hat – $4 (I cut the hair. I could have saved money and bought a red beenie hat but it wasn’t as cute)
• Coloured plastic balls– $2.50
• Apron -$1.50
• Metalic paper -$1.50
• Plastic Vacuum bag- $1.50 (Or use can use strong cellophane)
• You need a black marker, masking tape, clear tape, and a glue gun

14502950_10103326660862250_8054997443782456385_n

I cut out the red metallic paper (make sure the balls fit on the paper, before you glue gun them on).  I cut the plastic and used clear tape to tape it tightly around the balls and circle paper. I used masking tape to tape the circle with balls to the white tank top, and the apron to the top to the white tank top. I glue gunned the silver paper to the apron.

The whole craft took me an hour. She was so impressed when she got home from school. She choose this costume for trick or treating. For someone who can not sew, this is not a bad craft to do. I recommend it.
