Mississauga, ON

On Saturday, July 23, 2016, the 2nd annual Hailey’s Lemonade Stand will be held to raise money for cardiac research at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). The event is hosted by Hailey Roche who hosted her first lemonade stand at just four years of age. Hailey holds a lemonade stand each year to raise funds for SickKids as a way to give back for the treatment provided to her late brother, Ryan.
“Our family mission for Hailey’s lemonade stand is to raise funds to help the hospital continue to support and care for children that really need it. Losing our son, was one of the hardest things we have ever had to endure. The team of doctors and nurses were pivotal in helping us get through the worst days of our lives. We hope that continuing to raise money in his memory will benefit many for years to come.”
In their first year, Hailey raised over $4,000 and she is hoping to double this amount in 2016. In addition to tasty refreshments, this year’s event will feature baked goods, a promotional draw for three gift baskets and other fun activities for the whole family.
