FEBRUARY FREE & CHEAP EVENTS (February 24-26, 2017)
FEBRUARY FREE & CHEAP EVENTS (February 24-26, 2017)

Hello Everyone,

I hope you enjoyed your family day weekend. My daughter got sick, so I took my son on Saturday to Kidapalooza in Markham. By Sunday, we couldn’t stop Brookyn’s fever, so we brought her into the hospital. She stayed there for 3 nights. The staff at Mackenzie Health were really good. We coloured and watched movie marathons. I am so thankful and happy that she is home :)

Last night, I went to an anti-bullying event at Vaughan Mills Mall. The purpose of this Pink Shirt day event, was to raise awareness about bullying in kids and teens. They were selling pink t-shirts, and the kids were able to write a message on the wall. There was a concert put on by Ontario Born Singers Ryland James, MayDay, and Tyler Shaw. The kids were really into the event. Throughout the event there were great messages about bullying and how to stand up. A lot of children got involved speaking on the microphone with positive comments. I hope they do this event next year. I was highly impressed.
