Scarborough Museum is set along the walking trails of beautiful Thomson Memorial Park, once the farm fields of Scarborough’s first settlers and now a popular heritage community. The museum shows the history and development of Scarborough from its founding and early settlement to its growth and emergence as a major suburb in the 20th century. The site and its gardens are situated on property first granted to David and Mary Thomson, who settled in Scarborough in the late 1790s.

Admission is Pay What You Can.

The Kids’ Club is open to children ages 4 to 12 and is free of charge. Supplies are limited to the first 150 children.

The fun begins with the Milton Monkeys Kids’ Club – children ages 4 to 12 are invited to make traditional crafts, join in games and get a photo taken to commemorate the occasion.
At 12 noon, the Eye Dotting Ceremony will take place, followed by the traditional Lion Dance.
From 1 to 3 pm, there will be dance and song performances.
This event is brought to you in partnership with Independent Living Halton, the Milton Chinese Association, the Milton Chinese Arts Society and Dr. Sheila Wong.
