WORRY WARRIORS!

We are offering a Group session that will run for 6 weeks (1.5 hours each week) to address the worries and generalized anxiety experienced by elementary-aged students (ages 8 to 13) using cognitive behavioral techniques in order to alleviate the effects of the anxiety on school performance, family and social relationships.

We will focus on:
– identifying the effects of worry on the body
– labelling our worries
– practicing strategies for managing anxiety
– AND MORE!

Where: 101 Medical (1520 Steeles Ave. West, Unit 101)
When: Every Tuesday beginning Tuesday, February 13th
Time: 4:30 – 6:00 pm
Cost: $600* (includes initial one-on-one session prior to the start of the group as well as a one-on-one session after the group sessions).
