Between 5:00pm – 6:30pm, families, friends and music lovers are invited to the Village of Yorkville Park (Cumberland & Bellair Streets) for the Official “Flick the Switch” Lighting Ceremony and a special performance by Keshia Chanté. Keshia Chanté is a Juno Award Winner, 5x Urban Music Award winner, and 2x Radio Music Award winner; and has also been a television personality as co-host of BET’s 106 & Park!
The evening’s musical entertainment will start with a performance by The Rosedale Day School Choir.

The Bowmanville Santa Claus Parade will be happening on Saturday November 18, 2017. The parade begins at 10:30am and usually finishes up at around noon.
This year’s route is different from previous years. The path will take us from one end of downtown straight through to the far end without any of the major corners that we’ve had to deal with in the past. The path stretches from King and Scugog out to King and Simpson.

We will be traveling the same route again this year, departing from Tiffin and Lakeshore, heading straight up Tiffin to Bradford Street. We will then head North on Bradford to Dunlop, then through Downtown Barrie, where we will be part of the Downtown Barrie Tree Lighting festivities!
