RHCC DAY CAMP

Are you looking for a fun, private Camp that has tons of activities for your Children?

If you are in the Vaughan or GTA area, I highly recommend Richmond Hill Country Club Day Camp. They are located at Bathurst & 407, but also have a busing service.

The Camp is located in the back of the Country Club surrounding beautiful greenery. The kids get to swim twice a day. They will have morning instructional swim in the outdoor pool, and afternoon free play swim in the indoor Pool.  Your kids may even pass their swim level while at Camp! Activities are run both inside the Country Club and outdoors in the back. 

The Camp offers activities such as: Sports, Beading, Arts And Crafts, Cooking, Whimz Animals, Karate, Chamelea Science, Dance, Music, Drama, and more! Each week the kids have dress up days and on Fridays they do fun themed activities like a Carnival Day or  a Deejay Dance Party with Bounce Entertainment.

The 2017 festival will be hosted on the grounds of Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre on Sunday, July 9!
Due to rising lake levels and ongoing flooding at Coronation Park, the town is temporarily relocating the 2017 Oakville Children’s Festival to Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre (QEPCCC).

Festival admission is free and the event will take place rain or shine. Additional acts and activities will be announced as they are confirmed.
Toopy and Binoo to headline the 2017 Oakville Children’s Festival
Toopy and Binoo, the popular cat and mouse duo from the hit children’s television show, will headline the 2017 Oakville Children’s Festival on Sunday, July 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of QEPCCC! Families across Oakville can dance and sing along to the theatrical production Toopy and Binoo: Fun and Games, as a toy chest full of games and puzzles ignite their curious imaginations.

The event will also feature performances by comedian and juggler Bob Cates, singer Mike Ford, Silk Acrobatic artist Heather Govender, KaHa:wi Dance Theatre’s Pow Wow Bootcamp, First Nations Storyteller Cheri Maracle, The Compound All Star Urban Dance Team, ROCKGarden Party, Toyland Puppet Show, and street magicians Mike D’Urzo and Ray Chance.
Celebrating Canada’s 150th anniversary is also part of the line-up with a special dance performed by Oakville’s Balletomane Inc. and an ArtHouse community mural that will transform the festival into a patriotic arts and culture playground for kids of all ages.
There will also be fun hands-on activities and interactive shows.

The Oshawa Museum is once again paying tribute to an old tradition of the Henry family.
Celebrate this year’s Picnic with sack races and a pioneer chore relay, making ice cream learning Victorian handicrafts like cross-stitch and embroidery. The Oshawa Public Library will also be on hand with stories and the Museum will have a quiet colouring corner.
The picnic will be held on Sunday, July 9 from 12-4 pm in the Henry family’s ancestral gardens. The cost is $5 per person and free for Oshawa Historical Society members.
