ABOUT THE BBQ EATS FESTIVAL
A festival celebrating the oldest form of cooking is coming to Toronto. BBQ Eats Festival will feature ethnic BBQ flavours from around the world. It will be the largest FREE admission festival of its kind, hosted in Canada’s largest city famous for being the most culturally diverse in the world.
It’s also a massive BBQ competition! We are inviting chefs from across the city to join and compete for a grand prize of $10,000.
Want to learn more about BBQ? Join one of our many free BBQ cooking classes at the festival. Learn how to smoke meat, use different techniques, pair beer and wines, blend exotic spices and more! Meet some of Canada’s top culinary talents who will tantalize your taste buds. While food will surely set a high bar, we’re just as excited to showcase the latest BBQ equipment, BBQ sauces, gadgets and more. We’ll be setting the stage to also create the city’s largest BBQ consumer show.
This June, join us in welcoming the world as we get set to celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday.
