ABOUT ROCKWOOD RESORT

Rockwood Resort is located on spectacular Georgian Bay.  Rockwood is situated on a five acre parcel of woodland with two private sandy beaches.

Enjoy a meal outdoors on our picnic tables, hike through natural woodlands, bike along marked trails, enjoy a nightly bonfire on the beach, grab a fishing rod or laze around in sun or shade with a good book. You can even rent a boat or canoe and explore the 30,000 islands of Georgian Bay!

The Lakeview Cottage includes a fully-equipped kitchen, barbecue, 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom.
Our 2 bedroom cottages sleep 4 to a max of 6 (we have cots available).

Pets are not allowed during the peak summer season but we are more flexible in the off-season.

There is no pool at this resort, but the Cottages are located right on Georgian Bay with private beaches and a children’s play area.

The closest town is Parry Sound, which is about 30km away.

We have other Cottages that are larger in size and can sleep more people.

FEBRUARY FREE & CHEAP EVENTS (February 24-26, 2017)
FEBRUARY FREE & CHEAP EVENTS (February 24-26, 2017)

Hello Everyone,

I hope you enjoyed your family day weekend. My daughter got sick, so I took my son on Saturday to Kidapalooza in Markham. By Sunday, we couldn’t stop Brookyn’s fever, so we brought her into the hospital. She stayed there for 3 nights. The staff at Mackenzie Health were really good. We coloured and watched movie marathons. I am so thankful and happy that she is home :)

Last night, I went to an anti-bullying event at Vaughan Mills Mall. The purpose of this Pink Shirt day event, was to raise awareness about bullying in kids and teens. They were selling pink t-shirts, and the kids were able to write a message on the wall. There was a concert put on by Ontario Born Singers Ryland James, MayDay, and Tyler Shaw. The kids were really into the event. Throughout the event there were great messages about bullying and how to stand up. A lot of children got involved speaking on the microphone with positive comments. I hope they do this event next year. I was highly impressed.
