100 Things To Do This SUMMER on a Dime

Labor_Day_Weekend

I can’t believe that the Summer has come and gone. For those of you with little ones going into Nursery or Kindergarten, don’t cry! It is worse on you than it is on them.

My son entered JK last year and I was so sad that I missed his little cuddles. After a few months I eventually got used to it, and I would wait to get my cuddles at 3:30pm instead!

I am happy they are going back so they get back to a normal routine and get to learn!  For all of the Entertain Kids On A Dime Families, have a wonderful first day back at school.

WIN A FREE YEAR OF DANCE CONTEST!

RUGCUTTERZ DANZ ARTZ (in Vaughan) is giving away a FREE year of Dance to one lucky Child. My kid’s dance at this school and I am their biggest cheerleader. They put on the most incredible year end recital, and the place is so well run.

Here is the information below:

TO BE ENTERED INTO THE DRAW (You will need Facebook)

1) LIKE The RUGCUTTERZ FACEBOOK PAGE
https://www.facebook.com/RugcutterzDanzArtz

2) Join My Facebook Group

The post is Pinned to the top of my page (on a mobile phone you must click on “Pinned Post” to view this).

(YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL STEPS ABOVE TO BE ENTERED INTO THE CONTEST)

THE PRIZE:
The Winner will win 1 FREE Year of Dance at Rugcutterz Danz Artz located in Vaughan, near Vaughan Mills Mall. The Child can choose their type of dance and class day that they would like to pick.

Contest Details: The contest closes on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 6pm. The winner will be announced that night. The prize winner will be contacted through Facebook (so check your “others” folder).

*You must live in the Province of Ontario, Canada to enter.

SIGN UP YOUR CHILD AT RUGCUTTERZ DANZ ARTZ

If you are looking to sign your son or daughter up for dance, Rugcutterz is an amazing place. My 6.5 year old daughter is now entering her 6th year of recreational dance, her second year at Rugcutterz, and this is our 4th studio (and our last studio). They have surpassed all of my expectations. Here are some cool things I like about this studio.

When we arrive, we wait at the front of the studio for the teacher to pick up my child. The classes are in the back, so my daughter has no idea if I am staying or going, which is amazing.  They help her change from her jazz shoes to tap shoes. The studio is a 2 minute drive to Vaughan Mills Mall and 3 grocery stores.

During those two hours that my daughter is in her tap and jazz class, I can actually get something done. In my past experience, I would see my daughter dance for 2 minutes through the studio blinds at the end of each class. At Rugcutterz, they schedule one day per month where parents and siblings can come in and watch the entire class.

The owners are very friendly and welcoming, but most of all my daughter (who came there without knowing any other kids) is insanely happy.

The recital is beyond incredible. It is like watching a broadway show. The costumes are beautiful and the props are so big and bold. The costumes are actually incredible too. All costumes must go through an art director before they are approved.

Another unique thing about the studio, is that when you sign up for your first dance class, your costume is free!  This studio has exceeded my expectations.

MORE ABOUT KIDS OF LOVING CARE FAMILY SERVICES

12654376_917682541664032_2821363287472260334_n

Loving Care Family Services is dedicated to finding the most suitable nanny or caregiver for your needs. We pride ourselves on the time we spend to carefully review each candidate’s background to ensure suitability. Our caregivers and nannies are matched based on personality, character, work history & expertise. They have all completed our extensive interview process & reference checks. Whether you are looking for help for yourself, a parent, child, relative or friend, Loving Care is here to help. We offer full time, part time and temporary services.

Nannies and Caregivers for Children

It’s not a simple task to balance work and family. It is a constant struggle that a parent must deal with. The ideal is to hire a caregiver or nanny to care for your children to help balance family responsibilities and quality time, enabling you to have the best of both worlds. When hiring a nanny you want someone that you feel comfortable with and that you trust to look after your family. Our extensive interview and reference check process provides us with the information required when establishing a fit between caregiver and family to make the best possible match. This is our speciality and we pride ourselves on the fact we do it with great success. Read More

Palliative & Elderly Care for Seniors

It is difficult to watch a parent’s health decline. They were once so full of vigour, on the go and all of a sudden (or not so sudden) require assistance to stand up or take a shower. In the blink of an eye an adult child can become a part of what is currently known as the “sandwich generation”; raising children as well as caring for aging parents. Elderly care is important for balance and family harmony. Most aging parents would prefer a caregiver help them shower as opposed to their child. Parents don’t want to burden or inconvenience their children; hiring a caregiver will alleviate the stress that could otherwise occur.
